INDORE: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) hasn’t declared the first semester Legum Baccalaureus (LLB) also known as Bachelor of Laws result even after a span of two months.
There are over 2000 students who are enrolled for the course and while these students are waiting for the results, DAVV has decided to review the pass per cent result is less than 50 per cent.
“The varsity cannot disclose the result at the moment as it hasn’t been declared. However, as it was less than 50 per cent, we took a call of conducting a review ahead of declaring the result,” exam controller of DAVV, Dr Ashesh Tiwari told TOI.
Tiwari added that the remaining results have already been declared and this will be declared in a span of a fortnight after the review of the result is completed.
Considering that these students are already pursuing the second semester, they will not be facing any issues as even if they fail in a subject or two, they will get the chance to appear along with the second-semester subjects.
The varsity has also taken the decision to ensure that all the results which have significantly less pass per cent are to be reviewed again ahead of declaring the result.
The varsity had received flak after a low pass per cent result of B. Ed was declared.
