Steve Bannon, a former adviser to Donald Trump, has been in legal trouble for refusing to follow a subpoena from the House committee investigating the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol. Recently, a federal appeals court upheld his criminal conviction for this offense.

Instead, they claim Bannon secretly funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars to Kolfage through third-party entities.
